About Brooke Seager

Hi! I'm Brooke Seager, Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist, in Private Practice in Wichita, KS. I have a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Friends University (1994) and have had additional training in biblical counseling, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Level II Gottman Couples Therapy, trauma and PTSD, Cognitive Behavioral Therapies (CBT), sexual addictions and grief.

Being a Marriage and Family Therapist means that I look at what's going on in a client's life in the context of their history, which includes their family of origin. I also look at all the significant relationships in their lives and other contextual factors that play a role in how they deal with life situations.

I am licensed with the state of Kansas and hold to all licensing laws and regulations. I'm also a member of the American Association Christian Counselors. As a member of this professional organization, I adhere to the highest standard of practice outlined in the Code of Ethics. But more than that, I hold to biblical principles found in the Word of God.

I enjoy speaking at churches and other groups and meeting people.  I am a "Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work" Educator, based on John Gottman's best selling book. I'm also a Seminar Director for Prepare/Enrich, training pastors and therapists to use the Prepare/Enrich assessment tool for couples. If you would like to request a speaking engagement, attend a Prepare/Enrich training or schedule a therapy appointment, just give me a call!
